The purpose of this training course is to promote lift truck safety.
You will be educated in updated or new regulations in the technical aspects of operating lift trucks safely, made aware of what environmental risks to look for and how to control hazards, the safest way to handle products and how to secure material properly. The Lift Truck training course will give operators the theory and practical experience they will need to be confident in their operational skills.
After successful completion of this course you will be able to:
Identify lift truck features
Identify regulations and responsibilities
Identify workplace hazards
operate a lift truck safely

Course Length: 2 days approximately 8 hours each day
Practical skills are to be demonstrated the following day.
This course is designed to educate workers on the industry’s standards, CSA B335-15, train in the common practices and evaluate skills through demonstrations to ensure you and your company meets WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation 16.43.
Whether this is your first-time taking a forklift operating course or you are an experienced operator, this online and in-person course will give and/or improve your knowledge and experience in Lift truck safety.
